Why this blog?

As a realtor, I’m always looking for ways to not only build relationships but educate others about various communities/areas on the island of Oahu.  The resort in Ko’Olina is an example of just one area that I am involved in quite frequently both in sales and property management.  I would like to take this opportunity to start conversations with those interested in learning more about Oahu, not specifically related to real estate but any discussion relevant to Hawaii, whether property, local eats, places to see etc... Please make sure all discussions are clean and avoid negative comments, and language to one another as this blog is not intended for such use.  All comments are moderated and approved before they are posted.

So, to start things off...

The resort in Ko’Olina is full of activities for both residents and vacationers.  Just to name a few, we have four beautiful white sand lagoons, restaurants, marina, not to mention the championship Ted Robinson golf course; which by the way just held the 2007 LPGA.

Ko’olina continues to grow, and maintains its integrity of a sound investment for those looking to purchase real estate in Hawaii.  Future developments are the Beach Club, which will offer a variety of opportunities for entertainment for residents as well as the retail shopping center being built mid-2007 and opening in 2008.  Just five miles to the East of Ko’Olina holds the city of Kapolei which is growing just as quickly, and continues to promise more job opportunities and housing.  Kapolei has become, and was designed to be, the 2nd largest city on the island along side our capital Honolulu.  Why am I mentioning Kapolei?  Well, Ko’Olina is in the city of Kapolei and the growth there will naturally benefit the resort and its investors as well.
